Linda Griggs, Interim Rector

Linda serves as Interim Rector of St. Martin’s. A native of Blacksburg, Virginia, she spent much of her life before seminary in North Carolina, receiving her B.A in History and M.S. in Library Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her early careers as an archivist, jail librarian, reference librarian and school librarian instilled in her the importance of Story and storytelling. Linda graduated from the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale in 2014 with a Master of Divinity and a Certificate in Anglican Studies, and was ordained to priesthood in May 2016. She and her husband, Malcolm, have two grown children and two grandchildren and live in East Greenwich with their rescue pup, Bartlett.
