Spiritual and Pastoral Care

Spiritual Care comprises sacramental ministry of a priest or deacon, and or a form of conversation known as spiritual accompaniment or spiritual direction. This form of spiritual conversation seeks to reveal the invitation from God to be present in you life.

Pastoral Care comprises skilled listening and empathic connection through conversation with a priest, deacon or suitably skilled member of the Pastoral Care Ministry. If you are experiencing grief, loss, confusion, or are at a point of crisis, please meet with The Rector or a member of St. Martin’s Pastoral Care Ministry to explore these experiences within the context of God’s love.  The conversation about what troubles you will be confidential. You do not have to be a member of St. Martin’s Parish or of the Episcopal Church to request an appointment.
