St. Martin’s & Interfaith Youth Meeting
at Masjid Al-Kareem
39 Haskins Street in Providence
Sunday, April 7, 2019
10:30 am – 12:30 pm

If Not Now, WHEN?
If, after the devastation wreaked at the Al Noor mosque and the Linwood Islamic Centre in Christchurch,
following the slaughter at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburg, change isn’t fostered, then WHEN? So what change?
Change to make it harder for unbalanced people to get automatic weapons?  Certainly!    What about looking at causes for deep hatred?

Know that St. Martin’s is participating in an interfaith program along with Temple Beth-el and Masjid Al-Islam to host
consciousness-raising discussions with their high school aged youth, led by young people, trained at Youth In Action.
There have been 3 meetings and the fourth will be hosted this Sunday at Masjid Al-Kareem at 39 Haskins Street in Providence.

If you want more information, please contact Kate Chute at: [email protected].

Youth in Action is a South Providence-based youth program, which together with
St Martin’s, Temple Beth-El, and Masjid Al-Kareem

young people schedule meetings five times a year for topical conversations about faith and wider social issues.
